Of standard shape comprised of opposing sets of four makara-
head prongs connecting to a central shaft blooming from lotus petal
platforms surrounding a central nodule.

TWO VAJRAYANA DECORATIVE OBJECTS
The first, a likely Mongolian wooden bowl surmounted by a cast
silver lid adorned in coral and turquoise cabochons, and supported
by a base surrounded by an impressively cast and reticulated band
of Eight Auspicious Emblem motifs, above the foot rim encircling an
intricately rendered separately-cast dragon unexpectedly centering
the recessed base; the second, a possibly Nepalese rectangular gilt-
metal box covered by numerous lapis and coral cabochons on an
intricately filigreed gilt background forming a Hindu or Buddhist deity
centering the hinged lid.

A METAL ALLOY BELL, GHANTA
19th century
Surmounted by half of a four-pronged vajra blooming from a
benevolent deity head connected to a cylindrical handle encased in
fabric, supporting the bell cast in concentric bands of lotus petals
with lantsa script, vajras, and dharmacakra medallions, the interior
surface cast with three seed syllables (bell cracked).
