Inscription on the inside cover of the wooden box by Kobayashi Takusai, with two seals
NOTE:
Kobayashi Takusai (1831-1916) was a scholar and calligrapher from Kyoto. He excelled at the
connoisseurship of paintings and calligraphy.
Ema Tenkou (1825-1901) was a calligrapher, doctor and poet from Shinga. He was an
esteemed connoisseur of paintings and calligraphy.
