Yuan dynasty (1279-1368), the
heavily-potted bowl with deep,
rounded sides, covered inside
and out with a creamy, lavender-
blue coloured glaze draining
to mushroom towards the rim,
splashed, on the interior, with a
tapering copper-red streak shading
from deep wine to deep blue, on
the exterior, falling in heavy drops
on the unglazed foot, the base

applied, overall, with a pale blue
