34 | Bonhams An agate snuff bottle with horse and pine
1760-1880
Of compressed globular form, with a concave lip, well-hollowed interior
and oval foot rim surrounding a flat foot, the natural inclusions carved
in high relief to represent a piebald horse beneath a pine with a lingzhi
fungus adjacent, reversed by a monkey seated on a rock, holding a peach
and coyly glancing over its shoulder.

Of compressed ovoid form, with a flat lip and convex foot surrounded by
a rounded oval foot rim, the stone with icy white inclusions.

Of compressed form, the wide lip slightly concave, supported by an oval
foot rim surrounding a shallowly recessed foot, with fixed ring mask
handles on the sides, the interior very well-hollowed.
