A rock crystal double snuff bottle
1750-1820
Formed as two conjoined double gourds, each
with concave lips and concave feet, the larger
bottle incised on one side with a prunus branch
and a stalk of bamboo following a tawny-brown
inclusion, the larger bottle smokey and slightly
crizzled, the smaller bottle notably clearer, both
bottles very well-hollowed into both bulbs.

A molded porcelain snuff bottle
Qianlong period
Of double gourd form, the body molded in
high relief with a leafy stalk running from
the mouth to the foot, with overlapping five
petal flowers and a tied patterned cloth at
the waist, the porcelain with a clear glaze
suffused with a crackle.
