‘DRAGON’ DISHES
Guangxu six-character marks and of the period
With scalloped rim outlined in aubergine, each incised and painted
in green enamel against the yellow ground, the dragons in pursuit
of flaming pearls amidst short floral sprays on front and back of the
dishes, the base glazed yellow with Guangxu six-character mark
written in aubergine.
