Of flattened pear form, with a flat lip and oval
foot rim, one side painted with fish swimming
amid water plants, reversed by ladies on
horseback, inscribed with a date of jiyou
(1909) and signed Ye Zhongsan with a painted
seal.

AN INSIDE-PAINTED SMOKEY CRYSTAL
SNUFF BOTTLE
Ye family, 1922
Upright rounded rectangular form, with a
flat lip and rounded rectangular foot rim,
each face painted with an image of a seated
bodhisattva, one dressed in a red robe , the
other dressed in yellow and supported by a
lotus blossom, inscribed on one side with a
date of renxu (1922) and signed Ye Zhongsan
followed by a painted seal.
