Of flattened oval form with some depressions, well-hollowed with a Of compressed form, with a slightly concave lip and a flat oval foot
concave lip, the convex base enclosed by an oval footrim, the dark surrounded by an oval foot rim, the stone carved to highlight the
russet vein on one side carved away to depict two birds. natural inclusions, with a hawk standing upon a rock looking upwards
2 3/4in (7cm) high at the sun, the raptor’s feathers finely articulated.
