A Chinese partly gilt copper alloy figure of Tsongkhapa seated
in dhyanasana on a double lotus throne, both hands in the
dharmachakra mudra holding the stems of lotus flowers flank-
ing his shoulders, the detailed flowers support a sutra text and
an upright sword, his robe is heavily pleated with fine engraved
borders. Sealed. 18th century. Weight 2972 g. H. 22 cm.
