               17th century
               Seated in dhyanasana on the back of a benevolent dragon over a cloth
               detailed with lotus buds, the bearded figure wearing a voluminous robe
               detailed with scattered clouds open to reveal the bare chest, the face
               in meditative expression, the head partially bold flanked by flowing
               ribbons.

               The Buddha shown in blue seated in dhyanasana within the walled
               compound of multi-tiered pavilions, wearing loose patchwork robes,
               the right hand in bhumisparsa mudra, the right holding the patra,
               flanked by dharmapalas, above Jambhala, Mahakala and Yama
               Dharmaraja and further Buddhas above, all within vaporous clouds and
               lush vegetation, framed and glazed.
