Iron-red Qianlong six character mark, Republic
Period
The flattened circular body delicately enamelled
to one side with a pheasant between flowering
peony and wisteria, the reverse with a scene of two
quails nesting near craggy rocks, between issuing
chrysanthemum buds and blossoms and nandina,
all between floral scrollwork by the foot and neck,
beneath the rim a band of ruyi heads.
