This type of cabinet is known as yangam in CNY8,800 - 13,000 CNY4,400 - 6,200
Tibetan, and it was used for storing wealth
vases. These vases would be blessed once
a year in a ceremony by a lama. They would
then be stored in the yangam, next to the
altar, in order to bring wealth and happiness
to the household.
