BUDDHA sculpture, rendered through the sensitive
carving style and harmonious curves, epitomize Ը๕
SUI DYNASTY 岤㕤湶炻1976⸜
the high quality achieved by stone carvers in
the softly rounded face gracefully carved and the Sui dynasty. The slender but ß eshy face, GalerieġGérardġLevy炻湶
framed by arched brows extending to a reÞ ned narrow slit eyes, sharply carved, arched brows ࢝ᚎ
nose, eyes gently cast down half closed in an which form a harmonious curve with the ridge ˪湶⎌吋暁⸜⯽˫炻湶⣏䘯⭖炻
expression of quiet contemplation, above full of the nose encapsulate the classic style of the 1986⸜
cheeks and a delicately formed mouth, framed Buddha image in the Sui dynasty.
