A LARGE BLUE AND WHITE ROULEAU VASE
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The vase is decorated in rich tones of cobalt blue with a continuous
scene of a banquet within a pavilion, with warriors gathered on
the steps below, surrounded by trees and rocks on either side.
The neck is decorated with three panels enclosing fgural scenes
including a scholar in a mountainous landscape, Shoulao with an
attendant and deer, and a seated oficial with his attendant.
