          TWO LARGE BLUE AND WHITE ‘PEACOCK’ DISHES
          KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
          Each shallow dish is decorated in the center with a fowerhead
          formed by a central peony medallion surrounded by eight, fower-
          flled petals, below four shaped reserves of peaches alternating
          with peacocks on a ground of dense scrolls on the everted rim, and
          the exterior is decorated with the bajixiang.
