                 A LARGE FAMILLE VERTE FIGURE OF A
                 BUDDHIST LION AND CUB
                 KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
                 The lion is shown seated on a tall plinth decorated
                 with dragons and pierced with ruyi-head
                 apertures, its eyes bulging and teeth bared, and
                 with a playful cub under its right forepaw.
