          A WUCAI ‘BOYS’ JAR AND COVER
          SHUNZHI PERIOD (1644-1661)
          The vase is decorated with boys clambering on dense scrolling peonies, with
          the leaves executed in underglaze blue and black-outlined green enamels. The
          shoulder is decorated with a key-fret band below a band of fower and rocks on
          the neck. The domed cover is decorated with boys in a terraced garden.
