QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
Finely cast seated on a waisted lotus base, wearing long flowing
robes, his face displays a severe expression with raised eyebrows
above protruding eyes.

A GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF SEATED BUDDHA
MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
The figure is cast seated in dhyanasana on a triangular
double-lotus base with the right hand in bhumisparsa
mudra, the left hand in dhyanamudra, wearing a simple
robe draped over the left shoulder and falling in folds on
the base. The face is finely modelled with an urna between
the eyes, downcast to provide a serene expression.
