Spherical jar with no rim; decorated with four incised
horizontal lines and four rows of impressed geometrical
patterns. A similar vessel from Lampung, south Sumatra, is
in Bambang (Sumadio et al 1980: 67, 280–281).

Depressed globular form with a short neck, a flat wide
flange and a large mammiform spout; moulded collar
of concentric circles. (Compare Miksic & Endang 1995:
182–183 pl 117, 118 and 119)

Unglazed; globular shape with no base and a double neck
flange, flat mammiform spout and angular shoulders; black
with incised décor around collar; on the body, impressed
décor forming an X-shape with points is separated
into vertical panels by incised lines. (Compare Wiyoso
Yudhoseputro 1983/1984: 6 and 28, from Aceh.) Similar
kendis but with mammiform spouts have been found on the 107
Si Chang I shipwreck in the Gulf of Thailand (Pisit & Sayan
1990: 94–95 pl 208a, b; 209a, b).

flanges and a conical spout; a high splayed foot with incised
horizontal lines on ridge. (Compare Honda & Shimazu 1997:
248 pl 331, from Lamphun; Miksic & Endang 1995: 182
pl 116, from east Java; Guérin & van Oenen 2005: 164
pl 217, “peninsular type”, found in the Philippines but
probably from Pa-O.)
