A CLOISONNE ENAMEL BOWL
QIANLONG INCISED SIX-CHARACTER MARK WITHIN A DOUBLE SQUARE AND OF THE
PERIOD (1736-1795)
The small bowl is enamelled on a turquoise ground with the Eight Buddhist Emblems
evenly spaced around the exterior and supported on colourful lotus. It sits on a short foot
with a classic scroll and is decorated with a dense network of curvy scrollwork, between
overlapping lappets at the base, and keyfret around the flaring mouth rim.
