A LONGQUAN CELADON DISH
SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTY (1127-1279)
The slightly rounded, flared sides are carved on the exterior with a band
of chrysanthemum petals radiating from the slightly tapered foot rim. The
dish is covered overall with an unctuous glaze of sea-green color.
