AN UNUSUAL SMALL RED AND AVENTURINE OVERLAY
YELLOW-GROUND GLASS VASE
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The baluster vase is made from semi-translucent yellow glass infused
with bubbles, and applied with red glass chilong on the body, an aventurine
glass chilong coiled around the shoulder, and red glass cloud scrolls on the
neck.

A SMALL OPAQUE GREEN GLASS FACETED BOTTLE VASE
QIANLONG FOUR-CHARACTER WHEEL-CUT MARK WITHIN A
SQUARE AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The well-hollowed, pear-shaped vase is cut with eight concave facets,
rising from the foot of conforming outline and continuing up the tall neck,
the glass is of a sea-foam green color.
