flame mandorlas, the reverse with a large another example, dated to the 20th year of
Buddha seated before a mandorla, the hands in the taihe period, corresponding to 497, of the
dharmachakra mudra, the four-legged support same subject matter and with the same rope-
incised with a rope-twist border and large twist border to the base, however lacking the
flowers, inscribed with an indistinct dedication, large blossoms, sold in these rooms, 5th June,
wood stand, Japanese wood box (4) 1973, lot 272.
