A celadon-glazed and biscuit figure
of Guanyin on a lion
14th/15th century
The slender figure modelled with biscuit face, neck
and hands enveloped by a thickly folded robe and
high headdress covered in a rich celadon glaze and
seated on a lotus pedestal balanced on the back of
a smiling Buddhist lion.
