A longquan celadon-glazed lobed ‘peony’ basin
14th century
The heavily potted basin incised in the well with a single blossoming
peony surrounded by verdant leaves, enclosed by a border incised
with scales beneath the lobed rim with small flowers within a hatched
design, the exterior with a band of leaves between moulded ribs.

An unusual Longquan double-gourd vase
15th century
The vase sturdily potted and decorated on the lower part with three
applied figures of the Buddha seated on a double lotus pedestal,
each beneath a cloud scroll on the upper part, the vase covered with
a thick green glaze with fine diagonal crackle lines.
