A pale green jade bowl
Qianlong
The stone of soft green with some characteristic
natural inclusions simply carved as a bowl raised
on a circular foot and a gently flaring rim, the tiered
wooden stand inlaid with ivory stained green and
ochre.
The bowl 17cm (6¾in) diam. (2).

A pale green jade ‘dragon’ vase
18th century
Of even tone smoothly carved around the body
and encircled by a clambering three-clawed dragon
in pursuit of a flaming pearl supported on a delicate
cloud scroll at the neck beside a single bat in flight
above an archaistic taotie-mask band, wood stand.
