A large white and brown jade carving of a bird

The large white stone with patches of brown inclusions carved as
a crested bird on webbed feet with head coiled around beside its
body embellished with archaistic scroll details and grasping in its
beak two stems, one issuing a lotus flower and the other a spreading
leaf, a charming crested chick sheltering under one of its mother’s
spreading wings, wood stand. 19cm (7½in) long (2).

A pale green jade carving of a duck and peaches
Late Qing Dynasty
The recumbent duck with its head turning to the right, supported on
folded feet, grasping an intricate stalk of peaches and blossoms in
its beak carved in high relief, the tail feathers neatly overlapped with
incised scrolls, the softly-polished stone of pale tone, wood stand.
