A stone figure of Guanyin on elephant A stone head of Guanyin

With head slightly inclined and looking calmly downwards beneath The soft grey-coloured stone carved as the serene Goddess with
the simple peaked crown, the left knee raised to support the left eyes downcast beneath elegantly arching brows below a circular
hand and the right leg hanging over the side of the elephant to rest urna, the head crowned with curling hair piled into a topknot
the foot on a floral stirrup, the envelopping robe with traces of green and encircled by a high-peaked Buddhist tiara, the central peak
lacquer and the tassels and jewellery with traces of red, the elephant containing a carved figure of the Amitabha Buddha seated in
with four feet planted squarely on the rectangular plinth. dhyanasana on a lotus pedestal, fixed stand.
