A pair of famille rose hexagonal hat
stands
19th century
Each stand enamelled in mirror image with a
continuous scene of dignitaries, ladies, attendants
and boys gathered in groups on a terrace set
with rocks, a river flowing past the terrace with
a gnarled raft steered by a lady guiding three
Immortal-like figures downstream, each stand
pierced with one lobed opening on each of the six
sides, wood stands.
Each 28.3cm (11 1/8in) high (4).

A blanc-de-chine figure of Guanyin
18th/19th century
The figure modelled wearing a long flowing shawl
over the hair and shoulders and a robe just
opening at the chest to reveal Buddhist jewellery,
the hands held out low in front of the body and a
jewelled tassel hanging down between the bare
feet, fixed painted wood stand.
