A FAHUA BARREL-FORM GARDEN SEAT
MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
The garden seat is decorated with a wide band of
incised lotus scroll decorated in slip on a turquoise
ground interrupted by two animal-head handles,
all between two rows of raised bosses. The top is
decorated with a central fower head surrounded
by four lotus leaves.

A LARGE LINGBI 'TURTLE' SCHOLAR'S
ROCK
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The scholar's rock is naturally shaped as a turtle
stretching its head out from its shell. The stone
is of a black velvety colour with natural of-white
veins.
