A BLUE AND WHITE ‘CRACKED-ICE AND PRUNUS’ DISH
Kangxi encircled six-character mark to the base and of the period
Painted in shaded tones of cobalt-blue with a gnarled branch of
prunus blossoms against a ‘cracked-ice’ ground, the cavetto plain,
the everted rim and underside with prunus flowerheads floating on
‘cracked-ice’, a band of loosely painted leaf lappets rising from the
foot.
