Comprised of 108 ivory beads, a large ivory head-bead, and two silver
counters with inset coral. The beads are intricately incised to depict
arhats, auspicious Buddhist symbols, and vignettes. Malas made of
ivory beads are used for peaceful rituals of appeasing.
