ese Twelve Causes of Dependent Origination when presented

in the reverse order, may perhaps explain itself in a much clearer

            manner, therefore:

A and D are caused by B, for without it there

            would be no death.

e next questions that follows then is, “How does Birth

            arise?”

            B is caused by E.

E in turn is caused by G or A.

            G is caused by C.

            C is caused by F or S.

            F is caused by C.

C is caused by the S E or the Six Sense

            Organs.

            e S E are caused by N and F or Mind

            and Body.

            N and F are caused by C.

C is caused by A or Karma (Conditioning

            Activities).

            A is caused by I.
