A PAIR OF WHITE JADE ‘TWISTED ROPE’ BRACELETS
AND A PAIR OF JADEITE BRACELETS
19th century
The jade pair carved each as two strands twisted together, the evenly-
hued white stone with some pale opaque inclusions. 7.7cm (3in) diam;
the jadeite bracelets carved in low relief with continuous floral scrolls, the
stone of apple-green tone with cloudy inclusions, 9cm (3 1/2in) diam. (4).
