Of flattened globular form with long neck supported on an oval foot,
the exterior decorated in relief with large peony blossoms borne on a
dense ground of scrolling foliage. 7.5cm (3in) high (2).

18th/19th century The rounded and slightly flattened bottle with high shoulders,
Comprising one carved in relief to one side with a coastal scene decorated in relief to one side with three dangling monkeys picking
depicting rocky cliffs and sun setting amongst undulating waves, the lingzhi fungus in a cliff side garden, the details highlighted with mottled
stone of a pale green tone highlighted with russet inclusions, 7.8cm and russet inclusions, the reverse carved with three characters
(3 1/8in) high; a white jade bottle of compressed globular shape, describing the scene reading ‘Cai Zhi Tu’, which may be translated as
modelled in the form of a gourd issuing from scrolling meanders and ‘a sketch of lingzhi plucking’. 5.1cm (2in) high (2).
