A FAHUA RETICULATED DOUBLE GOURD-FORM VASE
MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
明 琺華釉鏤雕松下高士圖葫蘆瓶
The vase is decorated to each bulbous section in yellow and purple enamels with various scholars
engaging in activities such as playing weiqi, amongst pine trees and swirling clouds, all reserved on a
reticulated turquoise ground.
