The jar is decorated and gilt with two striding
dragons amongst colourful ruyi-cloud scrolls, all
above crashing waves.

清十八/十九世紀 珊瑚紅地描金開
光四季花圖碗
The bowl is decorated with four circular panels
each enclosing the Flowers of the Four Seasons,
interspersed with gilt lotus and chime decoration
on a coral ground. The interior is decorated
with fve bats in fight around a central roundel
enclosing a sun above foaming waves, and the
base has a Qianlong six-character seal mark.
