         A GROUP OF PAINTED ENAMEL WARES
         19TH CENTURY

         清十九世紀 銅胎畫琺瑯墨水池、茶
         葉罐及盤 一組十一件

         The group comprises a pair of hexagonal inkwells;
         a leaf-shaped inkwell and cover decorated with
         fowers and pomegranate; two sweetmeat dishes
         variously enamelled with a dragon; four various
         sweetmeat dishes decorated with fgures and
         a river-landscape; a large tea caddy and cover
         decorated with fowers and a futed tea caddy
         painted with dragons on a foral ground.

         The largest tea caddy 6√ in. (17.5 cm.) high

         A LARGE PAINTED ENAMEL
         ‘BUTTERFLIES’ DISH
         18TH CENTURY

         清十八世紀 銅胎畫琺瑯玉兔蝴蝶
         紋盤

         The dish is decorated with a central cartouche
         depicting butterfies and a pair of rabbits
         in a garden with blossoming peonies,
         begonias and chrysanthemums. The border is
         decorated with foral panels on the yellow-
         ground, and a similar design is on the reverse.
         The base is boldly decorated with a dragon
         emerging from clouds and tumultuous waves.
