A SMALL GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF VAISHRAVANA
18TH CENTURY

清十八世紀 鎏金銅多聞天王坐像

The deity is seated upon a ferce lion, holding a mongoose in his left
hand, with his right hand held in tarjanimudra. He has a menacing
expression on his face and wears an intricate tiara upon his head. The
base plate is sealed with a double vajra.
