THREE BRONZE CENSERS
17TH-18TH CENTURY

十七/十八世紀 銅香爐一組三件

The cylindrical censer is cast with a central
horizontal rib and applied with a pair of lion-mask
and ring handles. The compressed tripod censer
has a bronze tripod leaf-shaped stand. The two-
handled censer is incised with archaistic stylised
masks on a keyfret ground. The frst two are cast
with an apocryphal Xuande six-character mark
and the third one with a four-character mark.

A BRONZE ARCHAISTIC CENSER
17TH-18TH CENTURY

清十七/十八世紀 銅仿古饕餮紋簋

The censer is raised on a cylindrical foot and is
cast to the bulbous body with taotie masks divided
by fanges. The sides are applied with two beast
handles.
