A FAMILLE ROSE ‘INSCRIBED’ DISH
GUANGXU PERIOD, WITH CYCLICAL DATE
CORRESPONDING TO 1890

1890年 粉彩花鳥圖詩文盤

The dish is decorated with a bird perched on a
branch of blossoming fowers and a fowering
branch of hydrangea beside a six-line poetic
inscription that is signed Zhu Shanyu and
references the bird design, an iron red seal mark
to the base.

清十九世紀 五彩人物故事圖長方蓋盒

The rectangular cover is decorated with a
cartouche enclosing an amorous couple in an
interior, the sides are decorated with fowers in
panels, all reserved on a geometrical ground. The
unglazed base is impressed in the centre with a
four-character mark Deng Tong Xing Yi.
