GUANGXU SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN IRON RED AND PROBABLY OF
THE PERIOD (1875-1908)
清光緒或更晚 粉彩黃地開光龍鳳呈祥紋瓶 礬紅六字楷書款
The vase is decorated to the body with three circular cartouches enclosing a
dragon and phoenix contesting a faming pearl, all surrounded by foral scrolls
reserved on a yellow ground.

GUANGXU SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF
THE PERIOD (1875-1908)
清光緒 粉彩礬紅描金龍鳳呈祥紋瓶 六字楷書款
The vase is decorated and gilt around the body with a dragon and phoenix
amongst ruyi-shaped clouds. The neck is decorated with the Eight Buddhist
Emblems, bajixiang, below a ruyi-head band. The mark to the base is
surrounded by a pair of confronting dragons.
