194 A LARGE CORAL-GROUND FAMILLE ROSE BOTTLE VASE
19TH CENTURY
清十九世紀 粉彩珊瑚紅地福壽蓮紋大瓶
The vase is decorated to the baluster body and cylindrical neck with lotus heads, shou characters,
Buddhist symbols, pomegranates and bats, divided by a band of ruyi-heads and endless knots suspending
jewels on the shoulder. The foot is decorated with a double lappet band. The base has an apocryphal six-
character Hongwu seal mark.
