The plaque is decorated with a parrot seated on his perch looking down at a
crane and a deer in a garden setting with a fowering tree and butterfies.
The wood stand is open worked with scrolls.

清十九世紀 掐絲琺瑯開光伊斯蘭文圓蓋盒
The domed cover has a central roundel with Arabic inscription reading
alhamdulillah that may be translated as “Praise to God”, surrounded by a lotus
scroll that is repeated on the base.
