                                                                               The stoutly potted baluster jar is decorated with three rows of cartouches
                                                                               enclosing antiquities alternating with foral cartouches. The slightly fared
                                                                               rim is painted with a band of lotus scroll.

KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE, BUT
PROBABLY LATER IN DATE

清康熙或更晚 青花花卉紋蘋果尊

The water pot is decorated with a lotus, peony and chrysanthemum bloom
each on leafy stems. The mouth rim is encircled by further lotuses and
scrolling foliage. The base with a Kangxi underglaze blue six-character mark.
