                                                                     A PALE CELADON JADE ‘MYTHICAL BEAST’ VASE AND COVER
                                                                     19TH CENTURY

                                                                     清十九世紀 青白玉麒麟托瓶擺件

                                                                     The vase is of fattened form and is carved as a horned mythical beast
                                                                     standing foursquare with an elaborate curled tail. The neck is carved with two
                                                                     loop handles with loose rings and the cover is surmounted by a bird-form fnial.
                                                                     The stone is of a pale even tone with a few minor lighter streaked inclusions to
                                                                     one side.

A GREYISH CELADON JADE RECTANGULAR CUP
STAND
18TH-19TH CENTURY

清十八/十九世紀 青玉纏枝花卉紋盞托

The stand is carved to the centre with eight foral blooms growing
from leafy scrolling foliage, surrounded by quatrefoil form edges,
carved with a keyfret border design. The stone is of a pale greyish
celadon tone with some minor streaky russet inclusions.
