palmettes below a band of fshing boats, fags, pagodas and rocks. The base
has a four-character mark reading fu gui jian qi. The mark to the base can be translated as ‘beautiful vessel for the rich and
honourable’.

The exterior is decorated in sgrafiato style in inky
blue tones with squirrels clambering on branches
of gnarled trees. The foot is encircled by a band of
foral scroll.
