A JADEITE CONJOINED ‘DOUBLE’ SNUFF BOTTLE
19TH CENTURY
清十九世紀 翠玉雙喜紋聯瓶式鼻煙壺
The bottle is formed of two conjoined cylindrical bottles, each carved to one
side with a double happiness character. The stone is of a mottled pale green
tone with a striking area of russet and apple green inclusion to the reverse.

The snuf bottle is carved as a peach growing from a small leafy stem beside
a large bat.

A SPINACH GREEN JADE ARCHAISTIC SNUFF BOTTLE
18TH-19TH CENTURY
清十八/十九世紀 碧玉仿古鼻煙壺
The bottle is carved in low relief to the body with a band of archaistic blades
below a keyfret and ruyi border. The neck is carved with two kui dragon
handles. The stone is of a spinach green tone with a few black speckled
inclusions.
