SIGNED YE ZHONGSAN, DATED TO THE WUZI YEAR
CORRESPONDING TO 1948

The snuf bottle is painted to the inside with a continuous mountainous
scene of two fgures on horseback hunting geese with a bow and arrow,
accompanied by their attendants. There is a calligraphic inscription to one side
with the artist’s signature and one seal.
