A CELADON AND RUSSET JADE SNUFF BOTTLE
18TH-19TH CENTURY

清十八/十九世紀 青玉帶皮梅花紋鼻煙壺

The snuf bottle is carved in low relief to one side with a blossoming prunus
tree. The stone is of a yellowish celadon tone with a large area of mottled
russet skin covering one side of the bottle.

                                                                              The bottle is carved to the shoulders with two animal mask and ring handles.
                                                                              The opaque glass is of a rich egg yolk yellow tone.
